We had an amazing 2 night stay at Hide Ella .. very clean rooms, amazing breakfast and Ala carte.. 😋😋 staff was very polite and attentive..
The best thing I would like to point is NO INSECTS OR FLIES at all, kids were very happy 🙂
One of the best views to wake up in morning was an added treat to eyes 🙂

We have requested a king bed, they have joined two single beds which was very uncomfortable for me and my partner, causing major sleeping inconvenience. Ramesh at the reception is very unprofessional, not trust worthy and they had the audacity to charge 2 water bottles which we consumed during breakfast, with different prices! Take care not to get scammed.

We had an amazing time at the Hide Ella. Must commend the panoramic hill views from our room and Sky Bar. Staff from front desk Janath, waiter Namal and chef extraordinaire Heshan were all so so accommodating in ensuring a comfortable stay.

Stayed for 2 nights. Amazing views from the room. Service was brilliant during our stay.

Beautiful hotel with lots of potential, value for money isn’t quite there yet 😀 - The location is amazing, with incredible views of Ella Rock and the valley. Beautiful outdoor terrace, and very nice infinity pool looking into the woods. The staff were super friendly, kind and helpful. 😞 - The prices are too high for the level of service and amenities the hotel is able to offer at this time. It’s visible they are working hard to establish themselves as a premium hotel, but lots of things need to improve to make it worth the bill (restaurant menu and quality, maintenance of the amenities, staff training - though they were really nice)

Lovely hotel , stunning views Brilliant stay at this beautiful hotel with stunning views. The hotel is built into the hill side on different levels and whilst it is small, it feels spacious because of the fantastic views all around. The small size also makes it feel welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and all the staff were very helpful. A short 5 min walk down a steep hill to the main street and a quick tuk tuk back. Would definitely stay again.

Hide Ella has the most stunning views, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are very modern and tidy. We’d love to come back!

The hotel has incredible views over Ella rock. Rooms are really nice and the hotel itself is nicely decorated, located a short walk from the centre. The price of this place is just far too high for what you get, hence knocking off a couple of stars. There isn’t a lot of space by the pool to chill and the water is so cold so we didn’t end up using it.

Breathtaking views, beautiful rooms and excellent dining experience! 😀 - Winner of the best views of all the hotels we have stayed in Sri Lanka.😍 We had a 2 bedroom apartment with stunning, spacious terrace with hot tub. Rooms are stylish, modern and has a lovely bathroom. It had great facilities including sauna and swimming pool which was lovely and relaxing with all the sounds of nature as you felt fully immersed within it. The head chef was so friendly and passionate about what he does which translates to the quality of the food we ate which was so delicious 👏👏We had the best buffet breakfast we had in all our hotels stays in Sri Lanka and dinner in the evening with the set menu was perfect. A highlight was the chocolate coconut desert which was clever! Can’t fault this hotel and we had a fantastic experience - would recommend for anyone stopping by in Ella as the location is perfect! 😞 - Only downside was that the steam room didn’t work as there was an electrical fault. The tuck tuck driver who they arranged to pick us up from the hotel didn’t have the best attitude as they wanted to overcharge us for transport. Fortunately, we negotiated the price before we left but the only improvement for the hotel is to find better transport partners who are fair as that would improve the experience. Other than that there was nothing else to fault! 🙂
